The UIS computer labs provide supervised computer access for students, faculty, and staff. There are currently one general access computer lab in Health Sciences Building (HSB-109) and six computer labs/classrooms. Smart classrooms are located throughout the campus. These classrooms are specially equipped to provide a wide range of computer, media, Projection, and control capabilities, including connection to the campus network and the internet
Smart classrooms are equipped with Pentium III PCs with CD ROM and zip drives, laptop connections, ceiling projectors (or data monitor in smaller classrooms,) VCRs, and sound systems.
